We started out the month on the 3rd & 4th in the cold rain at Thriftway selling tickets on this years raffle car for Doernbecher Children's Hospital (KDCCP). We have also sold tickets at Les Schwab, Millar's Hiway Tire and at our Thrift Shop. All together so far we have raised about $1500.00. Larry and the Thrift Shop have raised the most except the two days in the rain at Thriftway. Remember at the County Fair we will have to man the booth on the raffle car 2 or three days. So far we have Molalla possibly two days and we are still looking for more help. "OUR HEROS"!!!! We invited our non-Kiwanian volunteers at our Thrift Shop to lunch and then gave each of them an "Every Day Hero Award". They put in over 100 hours each month working at our Thrift Shop.
