Kiwanis One Day started with a proclamation by Mayor Melody Thompson at the Wednesday City Council Meeting. There to receive the proclamation were representatives from Kiwanis, K-Kids, Builders, & Key Clubs. Each club's representative had a couple of minutes to tell council about their club. The above pictures are of Canby Kiwanis One Day with all the Sponsored Youth Clubs. They spread 5 truck loads of bark dust to make the Azalea Park better. There were 38 members that worked hard that morning. They had donuts and hot Chocolate to start the work and Pizza to finish. The city and all the clubs want to do a similar project in the fall.
