The above is just a sampling of the merchandise we have for sale. All of it in good condition or better, even a few pieces brand new. To many people it comes as a surprise to find out the Kiwanis Thrift Shop has been around for over 50 years at various locations in Canby. We get more merchandise than we can sell so we donate it to schools, churches etc. Just during the month of February of 2005 we donated $87 worth toys to the Olive Tree orphanage in Mexico, Cross Roads Church in Molalla 177 bags of clothes worth $2655, The Gleaners 28 bags worth $420, Local Churches in Canby $232 of merchandise (mostly clothes for needy families), local schools $450 worth of merchandise, Mt Hood Camp for the Handicapped $21 worth of merchandise, and Cloverdale School $73 worth of toys. What do we do with the money we earn? Well last year we returned to our Community more than $40,000.
