The Canby Kiwanis has been sponsoring the Kiddie Kapers Parade for over 50 years. The parade is open to all kids up to 18 years of age in Clackamas County. All participants must be registered and the entry must be signed by parent or guardian. Unless you register on line, then by submitting the form on line you will have agreed to abide by it. The Parade takes place on the first day of the Clackamas County Fair. Each child that participates and is registered will get a participants ribbon, which allow them free entry to the fair on the first day.

Each child that rides a bicycle, tricycles, roller blades, skateboards, scooters, unicycles ECT. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED.

Go-Carts, motor bikes, mini-motor bikes, or lawnmowers will not be judged or allowed in the parade. The Canby Kiwanis Club reserves the right to reject any entrant it deems dangerous or in poor taste. If a float is pulled by some motor apparatus it must be operated by an adult. Candy throwing is not prohibited, but is not encouraged. The main thing the candy must reach the edge of the street, so no young child will be running into the street to get it.

This parade is supposed to be fun for the kids, but it must also be safe.
